The Vision Of Ignite Camp

For every young person to feel known, loved and empowered to take action in their own life, family and community.

Developing Young People

Ignite Camp is a school holiday camp held over the Victorian April (Ignite Senior) and September (Ignite Junior) school holidays. Ignite Senior is for young people aged 14-18 and Ignite Junior for young people aged 10-14.

Ignite is designed to make sure every young person feels known, loved and empowered to take action in their own life, family and community.

Throughout a young persons Ignite experience, they will participate in a carefully crafted program aimed to develop their leadership skills through a self development lens.

Ignite Camp is an experiential learning environment, making up of both outdoor learning experiences but also expertly facilitated sessions by our hand-picked facilitators.

What Past Ignite Campers Have Said

The best thing about Ignite was the friends I made and the interaction with others... it felt like they really cared about me.

Cooper T. 2022

The best thing about Ignite was the community. I felt safe and accepted. I could be myself at the camp and connected with so many people.

Aurora M. 2022

Although it was challenging at times, (Ignite) was life changing, uplifting, fun and extremely positive.

Mia H. 2022

I liked that (Ignite) taught us to trust ourselves. When I started I had no faith or trust in myself.

Madeline D. 2022

The skills I learnt at Ignite were incredibly valuable to life and it was a really supportive and vibrant environment.

Arielle R. 2022

What I liked best about Ignite Camp is that they have really nice team leaders and staff... they have all been really nice and supportive from day one.

Harry B. 2022

The Ignite Facilitators

Our Ignite Camp facilitators are the foundation for a successful camp. Having had extensive training and facilitation experience with young people, an Ignite Facilitator is hand-picked to lead each camp and take the young people through their experiential learning journey.

Ignite facilitators come from a wide range of backgrounds, from teachers, youth workers, counsellors, professional speakers, community group leaders, mental health professionals & more. It is really important for us to have a breadth of experience and demographics in our facilitation team.
